New Features

• Automate HTTP Server Connect local scripts, desktop utilities, and automation tools to Cephable’s on-device Automate assistant over HTTP. Works with existing OpenAI-compatible clients, accepts connections only from your own computer, and requires an access key stored in your operating system’s secure storage. Available with Cephable Professional.
• ring Your Own Tools An Automate run can now supply its own tools — either an MCP server you’re running or functions your app executes itself. They apply to that run only and are never added to your saved Tools library.
• Smarter Working Memory Cephable now sizes the assistant’s working memory to your computer’s actual graphics and system memory instead of a fixed estimate, so conversations run longer before earlier steps are forgotten. The working memory indicator reports accurately and warns you when a workflow has hit its limit.
• eliable Typing Across Apps Text output was rebuilt on both macOS and Windows, fixing cases where Create and Automate results silently went nowhere. Stopping a task now cuts off typing immediately instead of finishing the response.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Create commands use highlighted text and clipboard contents again, including through Auto mode
• Cephable picks Summarize more reliably when asked to shorten or condense text
• Workflows continue through a locked screen or screensaver instead of stalling
• Earlier workflow steps stay on screen when you stop a run
• Final workflow results display correctly after the assistant restarts mid-run
• The browser tool no longer crashes the app when a page or tab closes itself
